From the successful team that has delighted older students with their plays for the last thirty years comes this exciting, colourful pageant of circus characters in the big Big Top! Clowns, acrobats, animals, trainers, head-hunters and fleas – this show’s got the lot! With 6 songs, it’s perfect for each primary grade to have one song each.

Large cast, catchy songs, room for improvisation and very easy to stage, The Circus is a delight for children to act in and for their friends and family to enjoy.

The Musicals Samples contain a half script, piano vocal score sample (first few songs) and two songs from the performance soundtrack. Free Sample materials are not suitable for copying and cannot be used in any way for performance.

    Ticketed performances are charged at the rate of 10% of gross box-office takings, with a minimum amount charged at checkout and deducted from the amount owing after your season.

    Free or by donation performances attract a flat fee per performance.

    Performance License Agreement

    1. We agree to payment of performance royalties at the rate of 10% of Gross Box-Office takings per performance for the above production if tickets are sold, with a minimum of AUD$50 per performance charged.
    2. We agree to declare our gross takings within 21 days of the last performance to Maverick Musicals and Plays, by sending an email to Maverick Musicals
    3. We understand we will be invoiced based on our declaration and that any amount above the non-refundable deposit is payable immediately.
    4. We will ensure that the authors' names are credited on all posters and programs.
    5. We will ensure that the endorsement "Produced with the permission of Maverick Musicals and Plays www.maverickmusicals.com" is also displayed.
    6. We understand that giving false or misleading information is an offence and can lead to prosecution.

    License Agreement

    1. We agree that a copying fee must be purchased from Maverick Musicals and Plays PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF REHEARSALS.
    2. We understand that any performances of this work will attract a fee in the form of performance royalties payable per performance.
    3. We agree to payment of performance royalties at the rate advertised here for the above production or any part thereof.
    4. We understand that providing false information regarding our intent toward this artistic work can incur extra costs and may lead to prosecution.
